Using the Property Bar, you can set exact dimensions for the Rectangle.
Set Object Size Width to 4.15" and Object Size Height to 2.6". Hit Enter. The Rectangle's Size will change.
Using the Pick Tool from the Toolbox, select the Rectangle and move to the Top Left corner of the page.
Now you can set the Fill & Stroke Colors for each Rectangle. For this version of the Computer Classes Flyer Tutorial, we will use Black and Grays.
Select the 1st Rectangle with the Pick Tool, then move your cursor over the Color Black.
Select Black to set the Fill Color. Then right click over the same Black Color to set the Stroke of the Rectangle.
When you hold your cursor over a Color on the Color Palette, you will see the RGB Values of the Color.
The Color Values for the remaining Rectangles are:
Rectangle 2 - R 230 G 230 B 230
Rectangle 3 - R 204 G 204 B 204
Rectangle 4 - R 77 G 77 B 77
Rectangle 5 - R 128 G 128 B 128
Rectangle 6 - R 153 G 153 B 153
Rectangle 7 - R 230 G 230 B 230
Rectangle 8 - R 51 G 51 B 51
Now you should have the Colored Rectangle Layer.
Next, draw another Rectangle on the Page, setting its Dimensions to Width 7.5" and Height 10".
Using your Arrow Keys on the keyboard, move this new Rectangle to the Center of the Page.
Set this Rectangle's Fill & Stroke to White.
Now you are ready to insert an Image into the Flyer.
