For a newly downloaded Font to be usable on your machine, you must first install it. Any Font installed while Inkscape is open, will not be visible in the Font List. To correct this, you must first restart the Inkscape Program after Font(s) Installation. For more information on Fonts and how to properly install them, visit the FlyerTutor Blog.
Go up to the Tool Properties Bar.
Click the 1st Down Arrow and select Black Rose from the Font List. Then set the Font Size to 90 by typing it in.
Select the Title and move it into the desired location on the flyer.
Select the Stroke Paint Tab. Select the Flat Color Icon then set R, G, B to 255 for the Color White.
We can now change the Width of the Stroke by selecting the Stroke Style Tab.
Hold the mouse button down while over the Down Arrow that's on the right side of Width.
Select px from the list. Then set the Width to 2.
You won't really be able to see the Stroke yet as both it and the background are White.
To rememdy this we will add a Drop Shadow to the Text.
This will open up a Drop Shadow Window.
Set the following:
Horizontal Offset 4
Vertical Offset 4
Click Apply then Close.
Now the Text pops.
Center by clicking on the Center Icon.
