Microsoft Publisher Object Menu Bar
Now we will make 2 Rectangles that go side by side.

The Rectangle Icon is on the Objects Menu Bar to the right of the screen.
Upon drawing your 1st Rectangle, it should have No Fill and a Black Stroke by default.
We need one Rectangle to be "Black" and the other to be "Maroon".

Click on the Rectangle to select it, then select the Down Arrow next to the Fill Color Icon on the Formatting Bar.

This will bring up the Fill Menu. Select "Black". Repeat these steps for the 2nd Rectangle.
This brings up the Color Window which gives you the option to select Standard, Custom or Pantone Colors.

Select all the Text then move up to the Formatting Menu Bar, change the Font to "Disko" which is a free Font that was downloaded at FontFreak.
Set the Font Size to "48". Change the Layout to "Center".

Then while the Text is still selected click on the Font Color Icon on the Formatting Menu Bar and select the "White" color.

The Text should look like this:
