Microsoft Publisher Halloween Flyer Tutorial
Go to the Step 08: Insert Image Insert Tab of the Ribbon and click on the Picture Icon in the Illustrations Group.

This will open the
Insert Picture Window. Select the Haunted House and click on the Insert Button at the bottom of the window.

Image will appear with handles around it for Resizing and Rotation.
Step 09: Edit Image Size
You'll also notice that the Microsoft Publisher 2010 Format Tab Size Group
Ribbon has changed to the Picture Tools Format Tab. Next we will edit the Size of the Image since it is obviously too big for the flyer.
To the far right side of the Ribbon you will see the Size Group.
Enter 5 in the Shape Height Box to change the Height of the Image, then hit Enter on your keyboard.
Using your Arrow Keys move the Image to top of the hill.
It should look like this:

I tried to find a way to color the windows of the house while using Step 10: Recolor Variations Menu Publisher 2010, and found no other way to do this but the method listed below. If anybody finds a way, please send me an email so that I may put it in the tutorial.
With the Microsoft Publisher 2010 Recolor Group
Haunted House still selected, go back to the Format Tab of the Ribbon and select Recolor from the Adjust Group.
This will open the Microsoft Publisher 2010 Recolor Variations Menu
Recolor Variations Menu.
Select Set Transparent Color so that you can make the Yellow color transparent.
This will change the cursor to a wand.
Move it over any of the Yellow Windows and click once.
They will all become

Go back to the Step 11: Group Objects Ribbon and select the Insert Tab. Select Shapes > Rectangle.
Draw a small Rectangle on the flyer. Select Shape Fill from the Shape Styles Group of the Format Tab.
Select Dark Red which is the first color of the Standard Colors Section.

Repeat this for all of the other windows adjusting the sizes of the
Rectangles where necessary, so that the house should look like this.

Rectangles together by holding down the Shift Key while selecting one Rectangle at a time.

Go up to the
Format Tab and select Group from the Arrange Group.

You'll immediately notice the difference between
Grouped Images and Ungrouped Images.

Go back to the Step 12: Arrange Objects Ribbon, in the same Arrange Group and click on the Send Backward Icon.

Haunted House will now have Red Windows instead of Yellow.

Step 13: Insert & Resize Images
Next repeating the steps to insert an Microsoft Publisher 2010 Size Dimensions
Image, insert the Scream Mask. Resize the Image by changing its dimensions in the Format Tab.
Height and Width to 0.9". Place the Image in the window of the house so that it looks like the Scream Mask is actually inside the window.

Headless Skeleton Image and place it on the right side of the house. Set its Height to 2.55" and its Width to 2.04.
Next Insert the Bat Image. Set its Height to 1.06" and its Width to 1.75".
Place in desired spot on the flyer.
Step 14: Duplicate Image

Copy the Bat by selecting it, then go to the Clipboard Group of the Home Tab.

Copy, then select Paste.
So that now you will have Microsoft Publisher 2010 2 Bats
Resize the 2nd Bat setting its Height to 1.51" and its Width to 2.5".
Step 15: Free Rotate Image
You can now Microsoft Publisher 2010 Rotation Handle
Free Rotate the Bat in a Clockwise direction by moving the cursor over the Green Circle directly above the selected Image.
Notice that the cursor changes to a Rotation Handle.
Hold your mouse button down and drag to the Microsoft Publisher 2010 Rotated Image
Right to Rotate the Bat.
