This tutorial gives the illustrated step by step instructions to create a Happy Father's Day Flyer using the Business Application - Microsoft Word 2013.
When you open Microsoft Word 2013, you are taken to a Welcome Screen with Templates for Styles and Document Types. You can also search for Online Templates.

For the purposes of this Tutorial, select Blank Document, from the Top Left Corner.

A Blank Document appears.
The Home Tab will be visible.
Select the Page Layout Tab.

Click on the Margins Icon in the Page Setup Group.

From the Margins Menu, select Narrow.
This option sets the Top, Bottom, Left and Right Margins to 0.5 Inches.

Next select the Orientation Icon from the Page Setup Group.

Select Portrait from the Drop Down Menu.

Clicking the Size Icon gives you options for different Document Sizes.
The Default Size is set to Letter.

Now that Document Setup is complete you can start working on the Flyer Background.
Ok, the next couple steps are going to take a bit of patience. So bare with me.
On the same Format Tab, click on the Edit Shape Icon from the Insert Shapes Group.

Select Edit Points from the drop down menu.
4 Tiny Black Nodes will appear around the Rectangle.

Note that if you click on any area outside of the Rectangle, the Nodes will disappear and you will have to repeat the Edit Shape Edit Points Menu again.
