  • Step 07: Add Text

    Select the Text Icon OpenOffice Draw Text Icon from the Drawing Toolbar. Click anywhere on the canvas and start entering Text, in this case it will be the Flyer title, "Aiden's Digital Photography".
    Select all the Text, then choose the Center Icon OpenOffice Draw Center Icon from the Text Formatting Toolbar.

    Step 08: Text Formatting

    Select the down arrow on the right side of "Arial" and change the Font to "Disko" which is a free Font that was downloaded from www.FontFreak.com. Set the Font Size to "48".
    Then while the Text is still selected, click on the down arrow on the Font Color Icon OpenOffice Draw Font Color Icon which is on the Text Formatting Toolbar and select the color "White".

    Step 09: Add More Text

    Add the remaining Text on the document. Here the Font is "Segoe Print", a free Font that was downloaded at www.FontFreak.com. Repeat the steps for centering and changing the Font Color to "White". Digital Photography Flyer All Text
    Click on the Bold Icon OpenOffice Draw Bold Icon to set all Text to Bold except the Flyer Title. The Flyer should look like this:

    Step 10: Create Star

    Next we will add Images to the Flyer. First add a Star. Select the Star Icon OpenOffice Draw Star Icon from the Drawing Toolbar. This will open the Star Menu. OpenOffice Draw Star Menu Select the "5 Pointed Star" which is 3rd on the list.

    Then holding down your left mouse button, draw the Star on the Flyer. By default, the Color will be "Blue".
